Subject: Watchman on the Walls

Greetings Brothers and sisters in Christ.

My heart is again stirred as I see the continued seduction of the Church. There is a spirit of dumb deaf and slumber that is infecting the body of Christ within the denominational community.

My wife and I beleive strongly that no matter who you are, your position, or ministry, that you stay under an eye ball to eye ball pastor and under the word.

Lest ye become a wing nut that flyeth blindly in to error.
Adverbs 3: 16 (Ok ok bad humor..)

However!
The key word is "The Word"! presented alive, and living, and with all authority. This does not mean screaming and charismatic spitting. The volume of ones voice does not detract or add authority to the Word of God. It is the "uncompromised Word, spoken with love in the boldness of the Holy Spirit"

The horizon is becoming inundated with the spiritual carcases of those once on fire for the Lord, who have traded in their sword, for a memebership card in the First Church of the socially acceptable. When ever you compormise the Word, or the "authority" of the Holy Spirit, ther WILL be a price paid. Institutions once errected to be battle ships in the seas of spiritual warfare have become cruise ships, designed to pacify, accomodate, and dillude the
"peircing" effect of the truth so as not to make anyone "uncomfortable". CLUE? HELL IS MORE THAT UNCOMFORTABLE!

Praise to the King of Kings just as David danced to the Lord has been replaced by carefully timed, "appropriately" delivered musical entertainment.

The MEAT of the Word of God to a lost world, has been prostituted and dilluted to nothing more that the power of positive thinking, executive management formats, and homilees of anctidotes and chicken soup for the sleeping.

The Fear..of God and the reverence for HIS HOLINESS that we not offend the Holy Spirit, and been exchanged for squelching the Holy Spirits DIRECTIVES, "even if it trashes the neatly planned and timed sermon, so we don't offend anyone. God forbid a preacher offend any of the executives who write the big checks. Does this stir up your spirit man?
IT SHOULD!!

Baby Christians, and the frozen chosen are being massaged into spiritual "whimpdom" only to be rolled over like a donut with a truck. Rather than Doctrine, Reproof, Correction, and INSTRUCTION in righteousness for the battle.

My wife and I just left a church that I had been a worship team member of, a church of about 1200 per service with 4 services. I did not leave in anger, or harsh words,...We just quietly shook the dust off and moved under the eye ball to eye ball pastoral teaching and accountability of one of the men who was at my ordiantion ceremony.

He is not a Pastor with walls of degrees, or a member of the Minsters lunch club society. He stands on the Word, and boldly speaks it without apology. We worship the Lord our God lavishly to "His" praise.

Why do I say all this?

STAY ALERT! STAY AWAKE! Guard your heart with all dillegence, for it embodies the Word of God...or...not*

We are Pastors, of the Lord.
Stay FED! Keep close to those who will hold you to the fire of the Word!

This ministry...UCMI.. has a simple theme..(Steve please pardon taking liberty to speak here)

THE WORD OF GOD IS THE WILL OF GOD.
Its not a story book, or subject to disection so as to take out anything that might be offensive. Its The Word!
JESUS CHRIST...Is Lord. not the board, not the voting commitee, or the memebership drive fund raisers etc...etc.. etc..ad nozium. JESUS!
The Holy Spirit is not some little warm fuzzy thing that we
conveniently "allow" to be a "part" of walking out the word as long as He doesn't get TOO heavy.
GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT!! We have replaced spirit filled, God fearing, Word preaching churches with finely decorated socially acceptable, TOMBS OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER.

Why..becuase they never joined the battle, becuase the Shepherd, were training them to polish their boots instead of how to USE THEIR SWORDS!! Becasue he never told them they WERE SOLDIERS!

YUP I'm a venting. We need to get fired up. We took an oath as Ministers of the Gospel!. FYI? Another tactic of the enemy is the knew ACADEMIC arogancy. Men who were called to be soldiers for Christ, are now drunk on the narcistic ether of self grandisement. Take a look at MOODY as in Moody institute. He was not an academic giant, didn't even have a theology degree. but HE LOVED JESUS..HE LOVED AND HUNGERED FOR HIS WORD..AND "GOD" .. took him where HE God wanted him.

NEVER..NEVER...apologize for the Word. People think your radical? AMEN! Don't fit in the religious Golf club? AMEN!

If Jesus was alive today?
The churches would kick him out for disrupting the service and disturbing the "members"

We have all these new music videos etc. OK OK If they speak the Word fine..If it reaches the "hearts" of younger "without"..compromising the truth or trying to make the Word "adhere" to the music..fine.. but..

Here's an old song that need to be "ressurected" (no disrespect to our women of God here)

RISE UP OH MEN OF GOD, THE CHURCH FOR YOU DOTH WAIT.! For what for us to STAND UP...and be MEN OF GOD! not "Apropraite little greeters for the First Church of the
Watered Word".

Thank GOD for this ministry. STEVE...Thank you..for refusing to water the Word or lower the standard.. I know you have been criticized for that.. AMEN!!!

We don't..have time..to "play" church..

Whatever we do..may we do it with ALL our might, and heartilly unto the LORD to HIS Glory.
