Yes, but Cronin also got DerMarr, K-Sat, Stokes, I-Mac. And Flowers was a great high school player, and he was more a Huggins guy with his "best rebounder in years" quote. BJ Grove was coming around his sophmore year, and Derek could have been better without a year off due to injury. Besides big men are hard to come by. And Derek and Rod don't have off-court problems lick Hicks, Whaley, James White, and Bobbit.

  - Johnny Carson was recruited way before Cronin was the man. He was still the video coordinator then, and you couldn't just revoke scholarships for no reason, Carson was unhappy with the team and transferred on his own accord.
