Unless Whaley decides to try his luck in the NBA lottery which is looking unlikely given his perfromance so far 12 pts 6 boards a game in the first 3 games. Im hearing UC is making Jeff Varem thier highest priority for the spring with a HS big man thier next option we will see

I don't feel like UC is "staked" in the frontcourt. Who do they have next year? Whaley, Flowers, K. Johnson, Maxiell, Hicks, Kirkland? One player over 6'9" is not enough. While other CUSA teams are consistently getting the 6'9 / 6'10" players, UC is not. Maxiell, Hicks, Johnson, Kirkland are all 6'7" or shorter. I don't consider them big men. We need another big man.
