Subject: More on 2004 recruits......from Insiders.com (same prospects as below but more info about them)

We all know UC isn't going to get any of these 4 to 5 star recruits. Last year, our intial recruiting list was Shannon Brown, Tack Minor, Corey Gibbs, Shawn Taylor, Richard McBride, etc., etc..........and then we end up with Whaley, Nick Williams, and Pilgrim......3 guys that NO ONE ON THIS BOARD EVEN KNEW WE were recruiting until a few weeks before they signed. My point is......this list is a very impressive group, in terms of talent, so don't look for them in a UC uniform any time soon......lol.

PG Darius Washington **** (4 star recruit out of 5 possible)(Edgewater H.S./ Orlando, Fla) 5'11"/160 23.0 ppg medium interest. Being recruited by UC, Fla., Fla St., UK, Mich, North Carolina (who aren't they recruiting?), Tenn..........my comments: Why are we even recruiting a PG in this class when Butler has already verballed? Are we trying to piss him off?

PG Jamar Butler **** (4 star recruit) (Lima, OH) 6'2"/185
30.8 ppg, verballed to UC already. Insiders comments: "Super defender who gets in your grill on defense. Has range on his jumper and is a strong, steady athlete. Is expected to help the Bearcats early in his career."

SG Jason Rich **** (Lake Highland Prep/ Fla.) 6'3"/ 180
Insiders comments: "One of the more charismatic players to come along in recent memory. One of the five best players at the 2002 Hoop Jamboree; earned invite to Nike All-American Camp. Rich is a superior athlete and maybe the state's best dunker since Vince Carter. Slasher, scorer with range and determination. Best compliment we can pay him: his peers look up to him and respect his game."
Interest from UC, Fla., Fla. St., NC (again?)

SF Roy Bright **** (Durham, NC) 6'5", 195 28.0 ppg
Insiders Comments: "Was second in the state of North Carolina as a sophomore at close to 30 a game. Routinely posted double-doubles and hit for 35 or more on many occasions. Probably the top prospect from Durham since Tracy McGrady played at Mount Zion in '97. Was a second team all-state performer. Nearly captured the MVP award at the 2002 adidas ABCD Underclassman All-Star game. Great athlete with an improving jumper."
Recruited by: UC, Fla. St., N.C. St., Okla.

PF Al Jefferson ***** (Prentiss, MS) 6'9", 265 28.0 ppg
Ranked as the #1 PF in the 2004 Class.
Insider's Comments: "He's spent time at the top of the 2004 rankings and rightfully so. He's a specimen with size, skill and more importantly he produces results. He's a load and loaded with athleticism. Can really score on the blocks, make key rejections and punches the clock each time out. Super prospect. High scoring game was 46 pts."
According to Insiders, UC has offered, as has Alabama, Fla, UK, LSU, and Mississippi.

PF Charles Rhodes **** (Jackson, MS) 6'8"/ 220
Insiders Comments: "High-major post player with plenty of athleticism and passion. Once he harnesses the package, the sky is the limit. Can face you up on the perimeter, but we think he's just too good a post player that he'll make his mark in the paint. Nike Hoop Jamboree and All-American Camp invitee."
Recruited by: UC, Miss., Miss. St.

PF Matt Terwilliger *** (Troy, OH) 6'10"/ 205 13 ppg.
Insiders comments: "Helped his Team Ohio squad to a second-place finish in the #2 division of the 2002 Big Time. Has a chance to really be a skilled scorer in college if he continues to fill out his skinny frame. Offered by the Cincinnati Bearcats as a rising sophomore. Good touch."
Offered by UC. Recruited by UD and Purdue, also.

Others have mentioned the Lofton kid out of Kentucky as a possible recruit, also. I'd like to see UC recruit that Rodney Epperson kid out of Barton....he's only a frosh and is 6'8" and can nail the 3 pointer.....he's currently 10-18 from three point range.

Any more info.....please inform us....thanks.
