Subject: Anyone else feeling kinda lost about our recruiting?

I read article after article about this kid or that and really, there's nobody else we're recruiting that hard. I can only think we don't know who else they're recruiting.

I wonder if Huggs slammed the door on Minor or vice versa?

I wonder how this will impact Bass?

I'm sure if we get Bass we don't take Varem. If we don't get Bass, I'm sure we go after Varem......SF.

Do we go after a fourth recruit?

I know no names. Leonard Harden?

Seems like a big mystery to me. We shall see.

I wonder if Huggs said no to Minor because we're loaded with guards the next two years and Butler is coming in 2004?

I hope Bass opens his eyes to his opportunity at UC......when Stokes leaves.....the SF position is wide open.

One last thought for Bass, if he's listening (yeah right). If you go to LSU, you'll never see the ball.....because Tack will try and score on every possession! LOL. If you want the ball......go to UC!

      - This year looks good, but I feel it's a tune-up for next season. Don't forget, Nick Williams is no slouch at 3 pt. shooting. Nick, Field and Bobbitt will be a handful from 3 pt. range. Add Whaley, Maxiell, Hicks, K. Johnson, Flowers and maybe another and the rebounds should be no problem. Also, Chadd Moore will be a sophomore and will contribute more after a year of learning. I think Kirkland may be a surprise and after his frosh year, may be ready to give steady play at SF. Plus he shoots the 3 pretty well, also. Next season will be nice. - I agree. L$U is a poor choice for Tack. I would have liked to have him because he's like a secret weapon (unguardable).....but with our load of guards and Butler coming in......really didn't need him. LSU gives too much freedom to players and they don't learn and improve. I can see him being the same selfish player when he's a senior.
