Subject: Info on Ben Elias off of a Google search.....

He's headed to prep school after signing with New Orleans last year. He did play for the Pittsburgh AAU club and some think Huggins was recruiting him while in Pittsburgh because of his friendship with J.O. Stright. Here's the info I found:

Bio Notes and Stats: Ben Elias signed with New Orleans in the fall 2001 signing period while playing at Rickards High School in Tallahassee. He's headed to a prep school for the 2002-03 season.

Elias averaged 17 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks per game as a senior at Rickards HS. He also plays with the Pittsburgh J.O.T.S. progtam. His summer 2002 schedule includes the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas as well as the AAU Nationals in Florida.

  - My source on Elias is Bearcatattack......and he didn't claim it to be a lock.....he's just guessing who Huggs was recruiting in Pittsburgh when he had his heart attack. But it's a good guess because Elias played for J.O. Stright's AAU team and we all know the J.O. Stright relationship with Huggs (remember Danny Fortsen), they're very good friends.
