Subject: Thoughts on "Breakfast with Bob"

I know it's just the first practice but here is what I observed:

1) Huggins looks great, he was joking with the crowd, walking around and just being Bob. The only thing I even noticed different about him was a softer voice.

2) Stokes did get noticeably bigger. He should have a good year.

3)Tony Bobbit can flat out score. He is going to be a great player and maybe our leading scorer. He is also a character so he should be fun.

4) Hicks did not look healthy. He played in the scrimmage regularly but he didn't really look like he had his full "hops". He was trying to do some nice dunks in warmups and stuff so maybe it feels all right but it doesn't look like he has all his strength back yet. I could just be overreacting though, maybe I just expected him to be more of a high-flyer.

5)BJ was not there. Hugs said that he won't touch the floor until he is down to 270 lbs. and that the ball is in his court.

6)Chadd Moore is quick and should be a very nice backup for Taron.

7)Field was taking the ball to the hole. This is huge in my opinion.

8)Rod Flowers post moves were tremendous, he really couldn't be stopped in the few times that he had it down there.

9)Kareem Johnson is not nearly as "large" as I thought he would be. He does not have excess fat, he is in good shape, as is Land, who looked solid.

Forget what the critics say, this team looks like another top 15, if not top 10 finisher. We will once again win C-USA in my opinion. I am excited to get the year started!
