Last week we told you that 6'8 Mike Pilgram from Wolfeboro (Brewster Academy) NH would be making an official visit to the University of Cincinnati over the weekend and now we're telling you that a verbal commitment by Pilgram to the Bearcats could be forthcoming just about any day now. And this makes perfect since, because Pilgram originally is from Cincinnati (Purcell-Marian) OH and is the prototypical Bobby Huggins-type athlete/slasher/combo forward. He's also dramatically improved since our Ohio Editor Chris Johnson ranked him #5 in his final rankings in the state for the Class of 2002, plus we understand that Pilgram has grown at least an inch since we saw him during the summer. Boston College, Seton Hall, Virginia, and Memphis are also still on Pilgram's list, but, assuming that we are proven correct, Pilgram's commitment will move the Bearcats recruiting class up to #2 on our list of the Top Recruiting Classes To-Date for the Class of 2003.
