I was living in Italy with my Italian wife, Marisa, when I got a call from my German employers to come to Butzbach (near Frankfurt) to help them with some Syrian Engineers they had a contractual obligation to show their factory, and how it worked. They just wanted them ootie the road, so asked me to come and divert them. The Germans gave me a big posh car and told me to lose them for a week, on expenses. The Syrians weren't bothered, as it was just a "Jolly" for them. I drove South to Munich, and booked a hotel near the concentration camp Dachau. After a night on the piss, we went to Dachau. It's now like a museum. They were stunned at the horrors that were shown on the walls. I could go on forever about that day, but I won't. They all thought that Jews were bad guys, and didn't realise what really happened there. They'd had the "denial propaganda" from school at 4 years old.
