Gilly I suppose not all kids are like that but where we live the town 3km away is the Gay capital of Victoria and the hippies and alernate life stylers are all here too. Their kids look like strays dogs. Hair unkemp, they look like they picked the best out of the dress up box and yesterday was THIER day as it's the Labour Day long weekend here. The Gay Parade was on. Small town Mardi Gras if you like and when I see grown men with glitter on their faces and their arses showing I feel like puking. Everything is acceptable these days, well to some maybe but gay or not I don't want to see guys kissing guys and women fondling women in the streets and ithat's what happens here. Kids here see this all the time so probably think that's NORMAL behaviour. Call me a homophobe if you like but I still expect some decorum even if you are gay. There are rainbow flags everywhere presently and that's all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I suppose to the local shops their buck is as good as anyone eles. The town itself if beautiful but the work ethic is zero and the moral decay has set in and looks like it's here to stay. The joy of living in Hepburn is we can go into Daylesford to shop and go back to Hepburn but the people from Daylesford have no need to come into Hepburn as there is only The General Store and accomodation places. Oh and the "LOCAL".
