Another old guy in our bowling club when he was 98 was caught speeding and fined, he was a millionaire the old bugger and he sold out his electrical and housewares franchise to one of our large national retailers, well I told him he should put the info that he was fined for speeding in the local paper and he would be a hero with all the hoons and he said he didn't want to draw attention to the fact that he was still driving with a full license in case they took it off him due to his age..He was sharp as a tack and he told me he had hired the bowling club in advance for his hundredth birthday and I was invited but not to worry as he had also hired the club out for his wake if he didn't make it and I was invited to that as well... Well I got to the wake as the poor old bugger carcked it the next year.. When he was in his late 80's he said he was going to Alaska but didn't fancy going on his own, I told him I would go with him, but he decided to take this old bird about 67 from the club with him... she died the next year and I always told him it was all the sex on the Alaska trip that killed her...
