(He had never in his life heard a more wonderful sound than the healthy wail of his first born son.. it was amazing and filled him with a sense of love and loyalty that he had never felt so strongly before.. it was a different sort of love and loyalty than what he felt for his family or for Shay.. so strong for someone he had never met and yet felt he had known his whole life.) It's a boy, Shay.. we have a son.. (His eyes held a mixture of excitement, relief and pure loving joy as he leaned down to kiss her, so proud of her for going through this. When they brought the baby over to him, he carefully took the bundle in his arms and suddenly felt so amazingly overwhelmed with joy and love.. it was a strange and amazing sensation to take in this little creature that was his son and to see all the little subtle parts of him that were so much like himself or Shay. He looked over at Shay, shifting to let her have a better look at the baby before they took her away to get her more comfortable. Seconds later, as they wheeled Shay out of the operating room and off to a more comfortable recovery room, the doctor came over to take the baby from him, asking him what they would call Baby Boy McLean.. and he smiled a little as he looked at the little dark haired bundle.) Remington Chase McLean.. (He answered, using the name that he and Shay had settled on for the offchance they had a boy. The doctor nodded and left with the baby to give him his vaccinations, promising to bring him into the recovery room in a moment.) (He grinned as she chastised his teasing words.) Well, his father is freakishly large, so it only follows that the baby should be. (He teased as he followed her, gathering her close when she settled into his lap and eyeing her with an amused sort of affection.. he hadnt been in such a good mood for months, not since they had been at the hotel together at least.. so much had happened to them since then and it was nice to be back in a sense of normalcy.) Yeah.. we'll try it again.. though I am really bummed about tonight not working out. (He shrugged nonetheless.. there wasnt much he could do about it anyways. He physically jumped when the doors opened and Remy appeared.) (He looked like a kid on Christmas morning.. his eyes were bright with excitement and he was positively glowing as everyone in the room except for Kyrian and Haylie got to their feet.) It's a boy! I.. well, we.. have a son! (He exclaimed, and then went around the room, kissing everyone.. his parents, parents-in-law.. Haylie and even Kyrian got a kiss.. he was just so happy and they all deserved to be loved cause he was lovin' everything! He let out a nervously excited laugh and disappeared back through the door and went into the recovery room where Shay was being situated.. sure, it was a pretty random sort of thing to just show up and distribute kisses, but he was in that sort of mood, so they would have to deal with it!)
