It was a pretty quick procedure and before to long the sound of a baby crying was heard, Shay reached to see, her hand squeezing Remy's as she felt her chest constrict with a love she couldn't imagine ever feeling. That was their child right there, a little person they had made in love and would raise together for the rest of their lives. It was nearly overwhelming her, she couldn't imagine what Remy must be feeling. The doctor lifted the child, smiling warmly to the two new parents. "Congratualtions, you have a perfect little boy!" She exclaimed warmly, shifting to raise the baby and cut the umblical cord, letting the other doctor go about getting Shay stitched up as she cleaned up the baby boy who was squalling and wrapped him in a blue blanket before coming over to the pair, smiling a touch again. "Would you like to spend a few moments with him while we finish up with Shay and get a more comfortable room prepared?" She questioned before she looked to Remy. "As soon as Shay is moved into recovery everyone can come in and you can go announce the birth." "Awe! Don't say that! I bet the baby is going to be adorable." She stated warmly before she smiled gently, tipping her head to the side as she looked up at him. "Come on, we probably have a little bit to wait." She stated, slipping her hand into his and leading him over to the couch, waiting till he was sitting before she - unashamedly - settled in his lap, her legs across his knees and her hand going to rest around his shoulders. "So I was thinking...that we should probaby try that whole date thing again sometime..." She murmured softly, looking down at him warmly, tenderly. She just wanted to be with him and feel like she had been earlier when she had been in his arms.
