She shook her head, letting out a soft almost frustated breath. "I am not afraid of dying. What's dying? Nothing. It would be over then and I wouldn't even probably know I died. I am not afraid of that. I am afraid of failing on this mission, on not doing what I am supposed to do, about not being able to cut it, about not being meant for this..." She bit her lip a little, thinking before she spoke. "...and you know..those are the exact same fears I have about you." She paused for a brief second before she spoke again. "If I fail on this mission, I could die, sure...someone else could die and that would be worse...or I could just find out I am not cut out for field work but any of that...you know, I am willing to try and handle because I think I could make it through that...but...I don't think I could make it through if I failed again regarding you." She stated, shrugging a little, still not quite sure she was ready to look at him during the whole heavy conversation.
