So very glad to hear from you Ellie, extra glad to hear everything is all right,well even if it is hot but I must say that if it ever gets that hot here I hope I can cope as well as you.Happy to hear you had an outing with the girls.Yesterday our ladies church group had a breakfast for the men,we do that twice a year,I spent all morning making the toast,came home,had a nap,then went to the fire dept supper of baked beans,scalloped potatoes and ham and lemon pie.Their supper was a fund raiser for the upkeep of their equipment.Today I was to church and after church,even though it is a bitter cold minus eleven with winds making it seem colder, I went to the next town to a flea market. I bought a nice lambs wool piece for my dogs bed..oh she loves it.Then I went to visit my son Kerry who has multiple sclerosis and finally this year has resorted to using an electric wheelchair.He and his twin will be 49 on Tuesday.I took him a card and gift.Thank God he has a wonderful wife who looks after him so good.They still remind me of 2 kids in love.They have no children..his twin has a boy 28 and girl 20.
My husband is making our supper tonight, he likes to cook about twice a week-I am glad of that! He usually spends all his time watching television.He is not a runabout like I am, I like visiting, volunteering,crossword puzzles and reading.I havent painted for a long time because I like painting on location and he does not want me away that long.Anyway I did have years of painting so I must not complain. I was used to working outside the home after the children got in their teens so the urge to go out is still with me!
