Dear Dudo I'm sorry that you have felt ill
Is it something that can be cured by a pill?
Sorry also to hear that your Mum's not so well
You all seem to be going through a tough little spell.
Yes, rain would be good, in fact bloody beaut
It's heartening to see every blade amd each shoot
coming alive out of dry earth..
All things springing up in the greeness of birth..
Creeks swelling with each splash of rain..
Frogs all bawling in chorus again
But then there's the point when it all becomes mud..
And everyone yells.. 'Oh, Lord.. it's a flood!"
Ellie.

Good to hear from you, and hope you and your Mum are both better soon. Also hope you get some rain. We've had a bit over the last couple of days, and it's so nice listening to it on the tin roof, although a couple of times I've been wondering whether we were safe the lightning was so close (less than half a second between lightning and thunder). China, who barks back at the thunder and tries to catch the rain, has been having a ball.

Kylie
