Subject: And don’t get me started on these CSIs. Girls who live hundreds of miles from the place they supposedly serve. They may go there one time in a whole year to parade around in their fashion crown. And then they show up to Highpoint and talk about all they’ve done to serve the community that they visited maybe once. I know this is not all, but I also know that it is several. I sat through several On stage questions this week were girls I know did absolutely nothing talked like they were volunteer of the year. It is so fake it is nauseating.

In reply to: 's message, "The Miss American Scam!! my daughter will likely be a top 10. But this experience has been the biggest scam of my life. The money we have spent on coaching, photos, wardrobe, and everything else, pale and comparison to the measly potential scholarships that she may win. The moms who say they are doing this for college scholarships are either the stupidest people I’ve ever met or Just living in a fantasy world. You can never earn more in scholarships than you have to pay out. My daughter has had an OK experience this week. But the amount of stress, body shaming, and cattiness has been crazy and in the world has it been worth it. The raising money for the heart association when a large amount goes to Miss America is a joke. Just donate directly to the heart association." on 05:38:19 06/28/25 Sat

Good luck to your girls today. I sure hope one of them wins so mine does not. In the future there needs to be some sort of fact checking on these ridiculous statistics these girls throw out On stage, that are so outlandish it’s laughable. Let’s get some verification next year, please. (NT)No name06:10:31 06/28/25 Sat
New to the program? That’s how open prelims work. They don’t have to live in the same county to participate. It’s about community service where you’re at. You would be surprised at the number of volunteer hours spent that aren’t plastered on social media. If you have a specific desire for the title holder local to your town reach out to them and ask them for some dates they could serve your community. I can not imagine waking up on Saturday morning after my daughter put in time effort and hard work to say “I hope she doesn’t win” that would crush anyone’s spirit for their mama to be so ugly… about a pageant. MAO is a non profit organization but they have to raise the scholarship funds. My child’s participation in the program has paid for two years of tuition and she has enough left in her 529 for the coming year as well. And she’s only ever been in top 10. It’s not always about winning. It’s just a pageant. If you remember nothing else remember that. (NT)No name06:42:27 06/28/25 Sat
