The judges should not be influenced by a sponsor or a board member and they should not know anyone on the board. It’s sad and I’m so sorry. Subject Author Date First off, you probably look great at a size 6! Any smaller and you might look unhealthy. Secondly, if that's the way the game is played, then play it! Make it your business to get to know the board. Insinuate yourself into every social situation where there is a board member present. Then you and your mama need to pounce! I'm very talented in my job, but I've had to spend an inordinate amount of time sucking up to the right people to get noticed and trust me, it works!
