As a mom of a long time teen, delegate, I would never recommend this system to anyone in the future. My daughter has worked her butt off the past three years, constantly improving constantly working with her coaches, out in the community frequently, developing her community service. And basically, none of that matters. To have the board go in hand pick a national title holder and bring her in to win over girls who have been here for years working in the system, is a total slap in the face. These people do not care about our girls. I am over it, and a few little scholarships is like they are throwing us breadcrumbs to keep us coming back and dumping more and more money into this. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.

Not sure about the Teens, but Susan Williams gave all he Miss contestants the charge that was given to the judges. (NT)No name10:23:13 07/01/25 Tue
This post makes absolutely no sense. Everything you outlined about your daughter's participation were positive things. The variable is that each year there are new sets of judges, new contestants, and the fact that you have been here the longest doesn't guarantee or warrant your daughter getting the crown. In the real world people get passed over by new hire and new talent every day. If anything, I would say your daughter not winning is a perfect life lesson for her. Staying in a job with a company year after year doesn't guarantee her that she will be the CEO. She might just be a really good admin assistant for life. (NT)No name06:41:15 07/02/25 Wed
