Subject: Soo you heard one side. if you’ve been around this program long enough, you know there are two sides to every story, and it’s not always the ED who is in the right. But if living in the delusion that of the 100+ girls who have been crowned by that local in the last 30 years, less than a quarter of those come back to the local (but some go to locals of other titles they had?) is all of the girls’ fault and not the experience they were given at said local then rock on. For a third and final time, talking about bringing in younger folks to at minimum assist, without them being run off by someone who has to be nearing 90 is not anybody being mean. It’s discussing what it looks like for that local to still exist. If Delores can’t handle that, or her defenders can’t either, maybe you don’t have that local or MNC delegates’ best interest at heart. (It might even be you) She was uncooperative and only wanted the ticket to state. Thankfully she did squat. Delores has put years into that Gastonia program and I'm sure if you check with many of her past queens they would say they had a positive experience. Sorry that you did not. Titleholders deserve to be treated with respect, transparency, and professionalism… every single year. If the program truly reflects empowerment, then listening to concerns shouldn’t be a problem.
