So stats are meaningless? I think a whole bunch of fans (and gamblers) across the nation would disagree. I think performance over 14 road games with OU coming out 3-11, is an indicator of future performance, stupid me. I think 0-2 versus Valpo this year is an indicator of future performance, I must be crazy. Heck, I even think 0-12 versus Valpo and going winless in the Mid-Con Tourney are indicators of Kampe's preparation, what a crackpot idea.

Performance stats, eh? I believe that OU's .350 average shooting % versus Valpo this year is relevant. I think that the fact that we can't make free throws (56%) in these games is relevant. I believe that OU's 39% shooting % in road games over the season has value.

But I'm sure you will be able to discount these relevant stats in your own mind. Afterall, you've probably been doing this over many seasons.
