To me this is good news, I hope she accepts the job offer. I don't follow the women's game nearly as closely as I do the men's, yet at the Big West tournament it looked like Close had a lot of responsibility for game time coaching that other assistant coaches may not have. I got the impression she has more coaching experience than a normal assistant might normally have.

I'd also like to see her get the job if for no other reason than she'd provide a little insight into how to finally defeat the dreaded Gauchos. ;)
