Gerald, I don't know about you, but I would say that I notice that the times I don't feel like I have the strength or desire to pray, them are the times I also noticed I wasn't getting into the Bible as much as I use to. They call the Bible your daily bread, eat of it and gain strength. Ever hear people say bread is a filler? It is indeed a filler. Hope that helps, if not, maybe it helped someone else.

Man will not understand the two most elusive phenomena in the
universe:
life and death. They are inseparably linked and, yet, diametrically
opposed
to one another. One might say that they are a contradiction in terms
of
logic -- the supreme contradiction. What are they and toward purpose
to they
intend? Indeed, mankind will never penetrate the secret of death until
he
has understood the mechanism that is termed life and the origin of
man's
consciousness, itself. How is it created and then developed to the
level
that it attains? Where is it actually located? on the floor? on the
rooftop?
or within the human body? What becomes of it after death? Oblivion?
But, if matter never dies, then what form does consciousnes take
on?
Perhpas, it becomes as the fabled God...immortal. Or does it reach
back into
the physical realm to claim its mortality once more as a god within a
man's
soul...as an Atlas of the gods...as a being who has dared to touch the
celestial orb and claim the right to be his own judge and thereby
annihilate
said Judgment Day. Or perhaps it has journeyed to the edge of infinity

As I See It: after all we've seen and been through in the past year in the U.S. it's understandable that faith is shaken but i feel sad for God (please insert your term for The One). people who were so full of faith are now questioning everything they ever believed in spiritually and feel God is to blame. why are we 'fair-weather' lovers of God? why is God 'good' only when things are going well? God is there for us no matter who we are, how we live or how we choose to find our spirituality and place in the universe. God never turns his back or looses faith in us as his child souls, no matter what we've thought or done. *most* people would not turn on their own children either, no matter what. that is the position of a parent. that is the position of God as i see it. we soul children can be rebellious, easily shaken and jaded by circumstances but God, our parent, is ALWAYS there. i believe we are all (on a soul level that our human minds may not easily remember) responsible for our lessons here on earth. nothing occurs here that we souls did not create for our individual or collective learning experiences. why are we so quick to put the blame on God? our responsibility in life should be to *own* our actions, thoughts, experiences and lessons and to get the most from each. God does know this is not easy and that placing blame (anywhere) is a knee-jerk reaction. but in the end, i believe, we will be our own harshest judge. what God hopes for us is that we remain open and aware of our plight...and His. God is the love we keep in our hearts and is there in the hate as well. God is understanding of our confusion and shaken faith and will not force Himself on us if we are not accepting of Him. God allows us the room to learn and grow in our own unique way but He NEVER leaves us. we can go back to Him whenever we are ready and He will be there before we even finish that thought. now that's LOVE! let's follow His example.

Dear God,

About two years ago I made the biggest mistake of my life. Something that I can only ask you to forgive me for everyday. I was arrested for stealing $240 on a credit card with two past friends of mine, and charged with a felony. I am not a trouble maker and I know what I did was wrong, and I'm not like society thinks I should be, I just made a mistake and will never make that mistake again. I wish that I had my life to do over again, or that maybe I will die tomorrow and be able to start over. I am currently being evicted from my apartment for the third time this year because I don't have money to pay the rent. I have no food left to eat in my apartment and no clean clothes because i can't afford to do laundry I am selling all my furniture to have money to eat. No one seems to want to give me a Job, and although they don't say so but I know it's because of the felony. I have to put it on every application. I have put my application in at over 100 places, and can't find anything. I have tried so hard to turn my life around and it almost seems as though no matter what I do I just can't get ahead. I recently got a job offer in Orlando Florida but I had to turn it down because I'm not allowed to leave the state. I can't get help from social services, and they don't seem to care if I am living in my car. I feel as though I have run out of options. At the time that I was arrested I was working full time and a student at CCC, I was going to school to be a teacher, well I was informed that you can't be a teacher if you have a felony because of laws. So I have since quit school, and lost my job because the store closed. The hardest part is seeing my Moms face everyday knowing how much of a dissappointment I am, even though she doesn't say it, thats how I feel. I did something so stupid and I know I will pay the rest of my life for it. I am so sorry for what I did. I have begged you to give me a second chance, to be able to have a better life. I don't understand why I am being punished for so long. Everybody makes mistakes, I have learned my lesson, but it seems as though it will never get better. I don't know how to fix what I have done I don't know how else to pay for what I did, it's my own fault and everyday I hate myself more. I only wish for a second chance. I just want to be able to get ahead. I want emplyers to see me for me and not whats written in that one little box. I want my Mom and Dad to be proud of me, and my neices to look up to me. I know I deserve to be punished but I don't feel the punishment has been fair. I wish only for a second chance. lord here my prayer.

Dear Leanne - I know it has been a while since you wrote this message, but I just happened across it as I was looking for something else. Please dear precious child, keep your chin up and know that God has absolutely forgiven you and loves you and so do your parents more than anything in the world. I have a daughter your age, so I know. If she had done something similar, it would not affect my love for her at all. I cried reading your message. I wish I could help you somehow. I am going to be praying for you dear precious child. You are so loved by your parents and God and many others. Please believe that. Please forgive yourself and be sure to read your Bible and pray (even when it doesn't seem to help) and find a really good sincere church to fellowship with. Your letter just breaks my heart - I truly wish I could help you. My husband and I are going through some very rough financial times right now that we don't think are very fair and it wears down our faith also. What's ^ GOD? How ya doin? I'm NOT doing to good. Things haven't been going good for me at all. Once I lost my lil empire I built, things started going down hill from there. You know my story LORD. You watched it unfold. Was i wrong? Was I at fault? Did I send her away and Break up the family? All my life, I wanted what I was taught. Family. Man Wife and Child. I had that. From my eyes it was perfect. I couldn't see the lies in front of me, I couldn't confront the questions I had. I believed I was going to die old with her. I believed she loved me, Loved the family. Now look. Why didn't I ask her if she was cheating. Was she cheating all the time? Why didn't she ask me to eat her out? Was she afraid I was going to tell her i Knew she was cheating? Was that the reason I didn't go south of the border on her? Am I going to be punished for letting the family fall apart? That is my greatest fear. That I failed. You have seen the 1000-odd pages I have written over the last 3 years. I still cannot make sense of it. I don't really believe I have asked you for direct help. I am now. I need you help. To answer all these questions. What is the differnce between right and Fair? What is the right answer? We are all sinners no one not even you are sinless. It is only because of the finished work of Christ on the cross that can make us sinless in our Father's eyes. Even as a Christian I am a sinner, but I have a faithful savior forever pleading my case before God. As a Christian I must also be more aware of my sin than anyone else's sin. The evidences of grace in my life should always be increasing and I should become more holy so that no one can malign the Word of God. Kris, Kris, You poor blind lost soul. How is it that you can say you are a true christian, when indeed, you are just as lost as anybody else. Are you saying that God can only deliver & forgive people of (what humans, not God call) little sins. Christians are not better than anybody else, they are just forgiven of their sins. ANYBODY in the world can be forgiven of their sins. You could be forgiven for what you wrote on here just the same as a lesbian or homosexual can be forgiven of their sins. Sin is sin in God's eyes. I don't know if you'll listen to me,cause I not a christian and I also married to someone.
I'm hopelessly in love with another man who is a christian, but he can't love me because I not a christian.

You may be right in some of things you say, but it also says not to be unequally yoked. God warns about marrying an unbeliever. 2Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

ME BEING NIAVE THEN, AND BASICALLY STUPID, AGREED TO LET THE KIDS GO STAY FOR 7 DAYS. IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 2 YEARS. THEY WON'T ALLOW ME TO EVEN TAKE MY KIDS FOR A WALK. I HAVE WENT TO THE POLICE, TO PARENTING CLASSES, ASKED FOR FINANCIAL, HOUSING ASSISTANCE. i wonder about a god that can take the life of a boy who tried so hard to live a normal life. Nick may have taken his own life. But i feel you didnt have to accept him yet. You raise a good question here. I've wondered the same thing myself. It does divide us. And, it says in the Bible that a house divided against itself will not stand. That's why so many Churches fall. But, if someone was to truely keep their eyes focused on God, and not on the world and put TOTAL trust in the Lord. Having compassion and not judging. Then there would be no division. But because people are so worldly, trying to fit in to the world and stuff, they fail to realize the closer they get to the worldy things the further they get away from the things of God. Anyway, that is all.
