The pouch soups really are the best... I believe Bear Creek is from Utah - I made the chili once and swore never to make home made again - EVERYONE wanted the recipe - I use the cornbread broken up under my soups - make more of a stew.... Yummmm...

Hi Patty~

Here's a favorite that I make quite often. This makes a large potfull. I like to have some nice Italian Bread for dipping...very filling and so easy to make.

Pasta e Fagioli

Begin: 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
3-4 Cloves Garlic diced
1 Onion diced
Add: 29oz can Tomato Sauce
Plus: 1 can Water
19 Oz can Cannelini Beans
15 oz can Diced Tomatoes
15 oz can Chicken Broth
1 Cup Ditalini Pasta
Add: 1 tsp Bl. Pepper, Parsley, Oregano, Basil, Thyme & Bay Leaf.

Saute the 1st three ingredients in Large Pot. Cook 3-5 minutes until translucent.
Add rest of ingredients and: Boil for 15 to 20 minutes.
Very Good!

I hope you'll give it a try...you won't be disappointed.

Hugs~ Joann

P.S.: Now that I hear how good the Bear Creek Soup Mix is I'll have to try, as I seen them at the Shop Rite in the produce area on a spinner rack. (On next weeks grocery list.)
