This Spinach Dip is almost the same as Joan's but used Leek Soup Mix instead of Vegetable Soup Mix.

Spinach Dip to go in the middle of a round crusty bread

1 cup mayonnaise
1 (16 oz) container of sour cream
1 (1.8 oz) pkg dry leek soup mix
1 (4 oz) can of water chestnuts (I didn't use them, drained & chopped
1/2 (10) package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts and chopped spinach. Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours or overnight.

Remove top and interior of bread. Fill with mayonnaise mixture. Tear removed bread chucks into pieces for dipping.

YUMMY!!!

Janna
