If you would like, I can dig up a Spinach Receipe that is ymmy. I usually take a round crusty bread and make a big hole in the middle. Put the bread on a large platter with dip in the middle and then scatter pieces of the cut out bread around on the platter. It usually draws everyone to the table - and they stay there until everything is gone.

Just let me know...

This Spinach Dip is almost the same as Joan's but used Leek Soup Mix instead of Vegetable Soup Mix.

Spinach Dip to go in the middle of a round crusty bread

1 cup mayonnaise
1 (16 oz) container of sour cream
1 (1.8 oz) pkg dry leek soup mix
1 (4 oz) can of water chestnuts (I didn't use them, drained & chopped
1/2 (10) package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts and chopped spinach. Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours or overnight.

Remove top and interior of bread. Fill with mayonnaise mixture. Tear removed bread chucks into pieces for dipping.

YUMMY!!!

Hot Apple Pie Dip

1 8 ounce Cream Cheese Spread (can use light)
2 teaspoon Brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1 apple, chopped, divided (toss with a bit of lemon juice to keep from browning)
1/4 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Tablespoon Pecans, chopped

Mix cream cheese, brown sugar and pumpkin spice until well blended.
Stir in half the chopped apple.
Spread into a small casserole dish or pie plate.
Top with the other chopped apple, cheese and nuts.
Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees or until hot.

This doesn't make a lot - so double or triple for a pie plate!
Serve this with Cinnamon flavored Sun Chips EnJoy!!
