I think it was CaB who started a thread for everyone to "go on the record" concerning their opinion of letting Spikes go and signing 3 defensive starters in his place. Nearly everybody thought that while losing Spikes was regretable, it was probably better for the team to let him go and get Hardy, Thornton and James. A few dissenters, but people were surprisingly upbeat about it.
