I think there is a disability law that says students with dyslexia are able to have extra time when taking tests. Read up on disability law and dyslexia.

Your wife is a lucky woman to have a caring, encouraging husband. G-d bless you for emotionally supporting her and her desires. Tell her not to give up. With her determination, she will pass it. good luck.

She may need to "update" her paperwork, get re-tested, some insurance will pay for some of the testing. When I took the GRE's to get into graduate school, my IEP forms from school did not work since my testing was back in middle school. So many 100s dollars later I had my updated paper work and I got to take the test with double time. It made the world of differences. I first tried it with the normal time and my score what awful, I still applied to grad school thinking my grades and research experience would make up for the bad test score. I was wrong, no one wanted me, bad schools didn't even what me. I re-took the test with the added time, my math was almost perfect and my verbal was also really good (I did study a lot more but the time is what did it for me). With this being the only really change the following year I got into all the schools I applied, the best schools in the country/world. What I am trying to tell you is the extra effort (money/time) for her to have more time for testing is wroth every min of your time. And she needs your help in encouraging her to get the extra time and make sure feel like its not cheating. Good luck.
