I know what you mean. Especially the bit about the budget. I dont know how much money I have, I can never remember. I just look at the wad of notes and in my mind, its either enough for what I want or not. I only count at the checkout. Even then I can usually just look at what I have to know if its about right or not. My house is always in a mess because of priorities, like I should be cleaning up now, but I am on the computer instead.

What really gets me annoyed is that if you explain your problems to any kind of professional and ask for help, the discussion quickly moves on to how you FEEL about it. For crying out loud, I am just looking for methods on how to deal with it. If you explain how it has or is affecting you, then suddenly, miraculously, you have a VICTIM mentality, and everyone has the same problems as you. BS of course, but that seems to be the way it is.
