Subject: Well in all fairness in the election, Huckabee did bow out when it was very clear he wouldn't have enough votes or delegates he did get out. The problem I had with Hilary is she tried to change the rules when she ended up losing (i.e. Michigan & Florida) & even when it was clear she wasn't going get the delegates she wouldn't quit. I think the whole thing was a mess from the beginning, but it was entertaining to follow LOL!

Vukovic waltzes in and gets prime cases and praise for his crappy ethics! Kind of reminds me of how no one clamored for Huckabee to get out of the race when he was light years behind McCain but they hurled everything but the kitchen sink at the woman who was miles closer to get lost! Hilliary didn't change the rules, The DNC changed the rules. Michigan and Florida wanted their primaries to count and be more important.

They didn't want their primaries to at a time when the race was over.

The Dmocratic party is the party of SPECIAL INTEREST. They don't care for the average person anymore.

Women were IMPORTANT to them in the Eighties, but not now.

They want the Blacks, Queers, and Hispanic vote.

Hillary would have won the nomination, but they didn't want Bill involve in their politics anymore.

If they wanted a woman, then Michigan and Florida would have counted. They didn't want a woman.

They wanted a black man. They needed to reward the black voters who have voted for the Democratic Party for the last fifty or so years.

She should have sued the party to get the votes.



By the way I hate all things Clinton, but she was screwed out of the nomination because of her sex and she isn't in one of their special interest groups.

First, Michigan and Florida decided to move up their primary dates against the rules set forth by the DNC, and it was AGREED upon by ALL candidates, including Hillary Rodham Clinton, a YEAR before the primaries that Florida and Michigan's votes WOULD NOT COUNT. They ALL agreed upon this fact, so much so as to where Hillary's name was the only name on the ballot in Michigan, because the others knew well in advance that the votes wouldn't count. This wasn't done on a whim, it was decided upon well in advance that Michigan and Florida would be sanctioned. Michigan and Florida played a gamble, tried to force the issue so they could claim some glory, and it backfired. The DNC wasn't out to get Hillary, it was something all agreed upon....

Hillary was all in agreement with this UNTIL she started losing...when it was clear that she wasn't going to win the nomination, then it became so important to her that Michigan and Florida be counted, Michigan counted AS IS where her name was the only name on the ballot. How fair is that to try and change the game mid-stream? If either candidate had protested the sanctions when they were first handed down I might agree with you, but they didn't. They AGREED to them, and then the only reason Hillary wanted them counted is because she ended up on the losing end.

I don't want to turn this board into a political one, but I disagree that Hillary was screwed. She ran a piss-poor campaign, she ran out of money (how do you account for that) and she lost the vote. Nobody took it from her, she lost. She figured she'd have things sewn up by Super Tuesday and didn't plan for anything after that, and it did turn into a race and she lost.

But please don't come here telling me I'm wrong....
