I love badass Mac showing all of us she can do all this stuff by making it look easy and manages to look hot. Not fair.
I love the episode too of Mac defending Marine Sgt.Joe Dutch the Marine Mascot. That episode was so adorable and hilarious.

I watch Jag for Mac the character. She may be a woman but i can relate to her more.Even when the show is a drab she made it entertaining and exciting. CB as Mac and DJE as Harm sold the romantic elements to the most straight macho guys in the audiences. Yes I watched purely waiting for Mac and Harm to be a couple. The was one unrealistic angle the show has done prolong this two. The writers in this show must be stressed out all the time not knowing what to do with their characters and the romance.
And how Mac handles a gun some know what they say about a woman who knows how to handle a firearm. They're so cool.
Even worst that she is ridiculously hot. Mac is the complete package and A grade wife material. Damn that lucky Rabb.

- First saw 2 eps of Jag on NBC but didn't really grab my interest. I was into Mad about you with my girlfriend that time. Then on a Friday night saw Jag on CBS and it was Mac in action. Turned out to be Game of Go episode. I wont lie I found Bell hot and her character intriguing. Most of all spotted the real and natural chemistry she got with Harm lacking in season 1.Caught Bell again on a Letterman show the man was full of himself and seemed to be hitting on Bell not that I blame him she looked yummy and was so darn charming.I knew then I have to be part of this show. When I sawHarm on NBC he just made me tingle in. I was just in love and in lust with him but the rest of the characters annoyed me so I was easily distracted and lost track of Jag. I watch Jag on the 3rd season and happy to see Harm again but Mac really stood out. She made the show more real,exciting,mysterious also while she's not perfect there's nothing about her you cant like. This is for Jennifer thanking her for offering to give me a copy of Catherine's TV movie the Good Witch. A good friend at work surprised me with it since she knows Im a big fan of Catherine. CB was great as always and beautiful as ever. Im sorry I never got around to thanking Jennifer but my work requires me to travel a lot which at times gets to me because I miss my wife and I get so exhausted from it. But Im not going to complain because I have a job unlike so many who are unemployed in this hard times. I also had a trip to the hospital for kidney stones and I almost passed out from the pain. The pain made me think of women during childbirth.
Happy New Year Jennifer and thank you again. Wish all the Mac fans a Happy New Year too. February is heading our way soon and the season 10 DVD will be ours.

Found this Mac scrapbook and got a kick out of it.While I always felt that Harm and Mac were the emotional centerpiece of JAG I believe Mac really brought magic and inspiration to the show. I doubt I would have watch the show without her.

With Christmas approaching us all what is your all time Jag Christmas episode?
I know we got All Ye Faithful,Ghost of Christmas Past,A Merry Christmas,Jaggle Bells. Im not sure I got it all down.
But my favorite would be "Four Percent Solution". I love the message reminding us all how precious life is and we got a deeper Mac. CB was masterful and entertaining as always and slowly our Mac got a break from the evil powers that be. Poor girl is always suffering.

Anyone know about the extras of this DVD especially if there's any alternate ending between Harm and Mac?
I remember hearing about the alternate scripts so makes me wonder if they filmed other scenarios other than the finale that we saw?

I tried watching NCIS but something always rubs me off and I noticed how the characters are usually obnoxious and smart a##es. With Jag no doubt its a military show but there's softness and heart to it. The characters seem human. NCIS reminds me of how Jag started year one that I didn't like because the characters like Pike or Krennick if Im correct are too aggressive and act like caricatures. I dont like their attitude. I could be wrong about this but its just my observation. But for those that like NCIS good for them.

- NCIS is very good with a great cast of characters. They feed off of each other. I like the show because it is a show made for adults, not teenagers. There is a lot of adult humor with subjective meanings. There is no love interests per se, but there is a strong bond between the characters. As for the LA versions, It is very different from the original. Good in its own way, but they need to get rid of the old woman who is very stiff in her mannerisms and LL Cool who simply stinks. Do you remember your first Jag episode? and first Mac encounter? I started watching the show on NBC the first Jag episode and the episode where Kate and Harm were saving Meg.It was not enough for me to come back every week.The show was corny and the characters even Kate and Meg so dull and annoying.I heard about Jag coming back to CBS so I gave it another chance. The episode was Innocence I believe.
The plot was good enough but most of all I took notice of Mac. She's hot but she's relatable,girl next door,tough and smart yet something enigmatic and vulnerable about her.
I had to get to know her. I also liked the Admiral very much and the Harm and Mac chemistry and dynamic was just like a drug addiction for me.

on your feelings and thoughts about TPTB toying with the idea of AJ and Mac together. There were some eps of their flirtation. I hated it. Even Harm sensed it at the end of the Stalker episode. I know many men easily fall for Mac but it just grossed me out.Period.

- It made AJ look like a sleaze to hit on Mac when she was in a vulnerable state. A comforting hug would have been acceptable and believable under the circumstances. As far as Mac's response, AJ was in a position of influence and I don't really know her thought process as being needy or if it was something she thought would be detrimental to her career if she rejected his advance. I lost a lot of respect for AJ in that episode as well as when he seemed not to care about Mac's welfare in Paraguay. Mac wasn't the only one unlucky with relationships. - So many episodes stands out. Black Jet is a special one.Many characters in Jag saw it even the women in Harm's life and the men in Mac's life. For me the biggie one was Yeah Baby.Kids state the truth and Chloe did that to Mac that she's in love with Harm and that Harm feels the same way too.Men would not just offer having babies to a woman.That's a huge move and a lot of responsibilities but Harm talked about having a baby with Mac. He's scared about commitment with other ladies but not with Mac. He has his stupid moments like Mac but with deeper issues they're always there for each other. When mentioning their names give a sample of your gut feeling or proof they knew what's up with our beloved Jag lawyers.
You can cite many incidents with the same characters.
Mine would be AJ = when Mac offered to also go to Australia AJ was smiling and mentioned about not wanting to miss all the action between Mic and Harm.

Am I alone in noticing that the media was not really so loving towards Jag especially when it comes to the reviews and critics but I notice the love affair of the press towards Army Wives. Dont get me wrong there are a handful of lukewarm reviews on Army Wives but overall the feedback and reviews for the show have been warm and outstanding.
I would 9% not so good reviews vs 85% great reviews for Army Wives.

Tell - me if I've a problem or what.
Since the show is finished, I never watch re-runs. As soon as I hear the music I've to go. Or change the channel if I can. I can't bear to hear the voice of the guy who dubbed DJE in an TV ad. It took me a long time for me to return on internet for reading fanfics.I like the actors in their new roles but I still have difficulties to watch them in their new roles without thinking of all what DPB did with JAG.The bad storylines. If I watch a TV show and learn on internet or see that the main characters will have a love storyline, I immediatly stop to watch the show.
About the JAG reunion I'm not sure that I'll watch it on internet and later on my tv.

- I'm not sure a JAG reunion would capture the same magic as the show did when it was on. Plus it depended upon the story arc, I mean to me Mac still has to be a Marine & Harm still has to be a Sailor. Either one as a civilian won't cut it, nor do I want to see Mac as the little housewife just popping babies (as so many fanfics have her doing). She's a Marine, Harm's a Sailor. While I'd like them of course to be happily married, not sure that they wouldn't screw that up for the sake of the movie. Just don't know. If its done, as long as Mac's there I'll watch. - It peaks my curiousity as to where this movie would take off from. Are Harm and Mac married, are they still in the military, do they have children? The movie for me should have some action and Mac not getting the short end of the stick. I would love it if characters such as Tiner, AJ etc were a part of this. I was disappointed the Season Finale had so much Vukovic. Harm and Mac were what made JAG the Vukovic arc was just another slap in the face to loyal H&M fans IMHO. "Mac is disappointed when Harm tells her his annual carrier-landing qualifications will prevent him from attending the wedding rehearsal dinner. He promises, however, not to miss the wedding. A man of his word, Harm completes his quals and grabs the last flight allowed out before a huge storm hits. But when contact with Harm's plane is lost, word of his predicament reaches the wedding party and Mac cannot hide her true feelings for Harm from Mic."

- While this episode was good in the fact that it finally got rid of Mic for good, I didn't like how they made Mac look. All whiny & begging, I thought they were actually going to have her get on her knees & kiss Mic's feet begging him to stay. Jordan Parker's death, Harm and Mac explore the list of possible suspects, including Jordan's last boyfriend, who was also one of her patients. But when none of the suspects proves viable, Harm and Mac are forced to consider other possibilities.

Mac: "No argument?"
Harm: "Not at the moment, but maybe something will come up."
(Mac looks at him strangely and leaves.)

(Then we see it's really Renee that he's kissing.)

(They talk a bit more and she leaves the bedroom.)

One very serious story about a soldier with a second storyline about Mac and Harm.
#1:When Private Rafael Rivera, a hero of the famous Marine battle at the Shosin Reservoir in Korea, is accused of being a deserter, Gunny goes to Albuquerque to bring him back to JAG for court-martial proceedings. But unbeknownst to either of them, locals are planning to kill Rivera because they recently discovered proof that he is the legal owner of the valuable land they claim is theirs. Moving up their timetable because of Rivera's departure, the locals ambush Gunny and Rivera, wounding Gunny and trapping them both at gunpoint.
#2: Harm falls out of a chair and hits his head and finds himself fantasizing about Mac.

"Iron Coffin" -- When a Russian submarine explodes killing 110 men, a U.S. submarine seen tailing the sub is blamed for the incident.
Russian Capt. Alex Volkonov enlists Harm's aid in finding out why the Russian sub sank. They both run afoul of the captain of the U.S. sub squadron, who refuses to reveal anything other than the fact that the U.S. sub was shadowing the Russian vessel, solidifying Russian suspicions that the U.S. is at fault. Harm learns that the Russians were testing a new rocket-powered torpedo that the U.S. knows to be defective.

Ever notice that Mac, the square away marine, dresses quite differently when she's out of uniform. Except for business suits most of her outfits aren't conservative.
She wear many floral as well as deep cut in the front outfits.
Why is this?
Is this part of her wild side she exhibited as a teenager or does she want the world to know that Mac is a marine, but Sarah is a beautiful and exciting woman.
She's more than just a marines.
What do you all think about her choice in dress outside the office? Does it define her as a person or that she's not just a marine and a lawyer?

- I think its because she wanted people to recognize that she is in fact a woman. Yes Mac is a Marine, & for the most part she is a woman in a man's world. When she's off duty, Mac probably wanted to be a woman, instead of someone in uniform if that makes sense. I didn't always like the style of clothing, but I didn't see anything wrong with it.
