Am I alone in noticing that the media was not really so loving towards Jag especially when it comes to the reviews and critics but I notice the love affair of the press towards Army Wives. Dont get me wrong there are a handful of lukewarm reviews on Army Wives but overall the feedback and reviews for the show have been warm and outstanding.
I would 9% not so good reviews vs 85% great reviews for Army Wives.

slightly O.T. Catherine Bell on Army Wives -- Mitzi, 23:07:20 06/14/09 Sun
Im glad Lifetime has Army Wives and while the show has its shortcomings it is still better than many awful shows tv offers these days. CB's performance always captures our attention and hearts.
So worth-applauding:<3<3<3

Does this sound familiar:
Harm: Hello?
Mac: (Crying) He's gone. He wouldn't even speak to me.
Harm: Hey. Hey. Don't blame yourself for this. Brumby's always acted
impulsively, it was a matter of time.
Mac: What are you saying?
Harm: This isn't gonna make it hurt any less, but it's better now than 6
months into the marriage.
Mac: OK, I'm hanging up now.
Harm: Mac, where are you going?
Mac: I don't know.
Harm: Come to me.
Mac: Why?
Harm: So we can talk.
Mac: We already talked.
Harm: Don't argue with me.
Mac: I need a better reason.
Harm: You know the reason. Mac?
Mac: I'm here.
Harm: I'm waiting.
Yeah that's right-
Our next episode is "Adrift" Part I --and part 2
end of season 6 and onto season 7!
Part 1:
"Mac is disappointed when Harm tells her his annual carrier-landing qualifications will prevent him from attending the wedding rehearsal dinner. He promises, however, not to miss the wedding. A man of his word, Harm completes his quals and grabs the last flight allowed out before a huge storm hits. But when contact with Harm's plane is lost, word of his predicament reaches the wedding party and Mac cannot hide her true feelings for Harm from Mic."
Part 2
"As Harm begins to lapse into the final stages of hypothermia, his only hope is to make contact with his potential rescuers by holding onto a sonar buoy. Meanwhile, Mic can't help but notice Mac's distress over losing Harm and he makes a decision about their future that may leave Mac on her own."

- Great acting by CB. I so buy her angst. Happy to see Mic go but I hate TPTB for making Mac and Harm look bad and as always they toy with the shippers. (NT) -- Dadge, 16:43:35 05/11/09 Mon
- My complaint is that Mac didn't call off the wedding herself. They made her so needy and clingy, begging Mic not to leave. I guess that Mic was right: she just didn't want to be alone. (NT) -- LM, 07:53:15 05/21/09 Thu
- While this episode was good in the fact that it finally got rid of Mic for good, I didn't like how they made Mac look. All whiny & begging, I thought they were actually going to have her get on her knees & kiss Mic's feet begging him to stay. I would've loved it had they both agreed that it wouldn't of worked, & ended things like adults instead of making Mic look good at Mac's expense. I did love the eps with Gunny that followed, but Lifeline & the Adrifts were just icky for me. (NT) -- Jennifer, 08:12:54 05/30/09 Sat
- I loved what CB was wearing in this episode. This is when I think that CB realized as much as she wanted to stop waiting for Harm and her to be on the same page at the same time, she could not deny that Harm was her only true soulmate. Annoyed that she still felt the need to run after Mic and that once again the Harm/Mac connection is denied the long -suffering shippers. Glad that Mic left on his terms though. Harm: "I guess I never pictured myself celebrating your engagement."
Mac: "Did you expect me to stay single forever?"
Harm: "I don't know what I expected. You've been a surprise to me from the moment we met. You remember?"
("We the People" Flashback)
Mac: "The look on your face made the hair stand up on the back of my neck."
Harm: "Imagine how I felt. You were Diane come back to life. The resemblance was uncanny."
Mac: "Sometimes I'd catch you looking at me. I knew you were seeing her."
Harm: "She meant a lot to me."
Mac: "So I gathered."
Mac: "I figured that's why you resented me at first."
Harm: "Because you look like Diane?"
Mac: "Because I wasn't Diane."
Harm: "Mac, I never resented you."
Mac: "You didn't like me."
Harm: "You didn't like me. I at least tried to be friendly."
Mac: "Friendly? You torpedoed me our first time out."
Yes that's right our next episode is "Lifeline"
Full of flashbacks of our favorite series Mac and Harm are on the Admiral's front porch reminiscing about the past at Mac and Mic's engagement party.

"Past Tense" -- Harm's unwillingness to accept the premise that his former girlfriend committed suicide leads him to call on his old friend Lt. Cmdr. Teresa Coulter a forensic pathologist. Bradford May directed the episode from a script by Dana Coen.
As Coulter works on the forensic evidence surrounding Lt. Cmdr. Jordan Parker's death, Harm and Mac explore the list of possible suspects, including Jordan's last boyfriend, who was also one of her patients. But when none of the suspects proves viable, Harm and Mac are forced to consider other possibilities.

- Yes it was sad to learn about Trevor. I loved the zest he brought to his portrayal of Mic. Although he had me shaking my head over some of his antics, he was a good foil for Harm. TPTB had no intention of getting H & M together any time soon, so Mic was the perfect guy to get the viewers all riled up. He was a persistnent manipulative little bugger and played that role with gusto. (NT) -- Jubellant, 07:59:25 04/12/09 Sun

Sgt. Joan Steele, kidnapped by terrorists a month before the attack, insists that the cooperation she gave the terrorists was designed to foil their plot. Harm, who is defending her, finds her claim dubious. CIA Operative Clayton Webb asks for her help in tracking down a known terrorist who is planning to bomb another U.S. target within 48 hours and Steele readily agrees. But Steele suddenly disappears, confirming Harm's suspicions and, more importantly, leaving the target -- a busload of American children -- at risk.

- The episode of the week: -- jagnut, 15:53:04 03/13/09 Fri
(Harm sees Mac walk in, wearing a long, white evening gown.)
Mac: (in a breathy voice) "It's gonna rain this afternoon. It's perfect weather for making love."
Harm: "Well, you oughta know, Sweet Thing."
(We then see the 'real' Mac come over behind the desk to Harm's side.)
Mac: "Harm? Harm?"
(Harm looks at her strangely, then reaches out and touches her.)
Mac: "What are you doing?"
Harm: (snapping out of it)"Uuuhh, just checking." (clears throat)
Mac: "What happened to your head?"
Harm: "Admiral's chair fell out from under me."
Mac: "You okay?"
Harm: "Of course."
Mac: "You called me 'Sweet Thing'."
(Harm gives her a "look")
Harm: "Why would I say that?"
Mac: "And, uh, what exactly was it that I'd know?"
(Harm desperately squirms.)
Harm: "Did you want something?"
Mac: "I want you to authorize orders. I wanna send Gunny to New Mexico to pick up my prisoner."
Harm: "Fine by me."
Mac: "No argument?"
Harm: "Not at the moment, but maybe something will come up."
(Mac looks at him strangely and leaves.)
Harm to himself: "Sweet Thing?"
**********************************************************
(Harm sees Mac coming out of his shower, rather seductively.)
Harm: "Mac? What are you doing here?"
Mac: "Well, a girl can't get too much of a good thing, so I was hoping we could pick up where we left off last night."
(Harm leans in to kiss her.)
Mac: "Harm. . ."
Harm: "Mac"
(Then we see it's really Renee that he's kissing.)
Renee: "Harm? Did you just call me Mac?"
Harm: "No."
Renee: "Well, it sure sounded like that."
Harm: "Well, why would I call you Mac? I mean, I know the difference between you and Mac."
(They talk a bit more and she leaves the bedroom.)
Harm to himself: "I'm losin' my mind."
***********************************************************
Renee: "Harm, you called me Mac. Is she your dream girl?"
Harm: "You wanna know the truth?"
Renee: "I can handle it."
Harm: "I've been doing some thinking lately."
Renee: "About Mac coming out of your shower clothed only in raindrops? Sorry. Are you in love with her?"
Harm: "Come on, Renee. We fight like cats and dogs. Besides, she's gettin' married soon, remember?"
Renee: "Remember? I'm counting the days. Harm, tell her to get out of your dreams, and then you can have me, and I can have my miracle."
***********************************************************
Mac: "Harm, why are you staring at me?"
Harm: "You're out of uniform. Right?"
(Bud looks at him strangely.)
Mac: "I changed in the ladies' room. I'm going to lunch with Mic. And did I tell you I'm taking the afternoon off?"
Harm: "No, you failed to mention that."
(Mac nods and smiles.)
Harm: "So, this is a big day for you two, huh?"
Mac: "Yeah, it is. Mic said that you were fair, friendly."
(Bud looks at Harm expectantly.)
Harm: "Well, come on. You and I are friends, and you know, Mic's gonna be your husband, so it's only fitting that he and I should be friends."
Bud: "Sir, about that MRI."
**********************************************************
Yes this week the episode is "Retreat, Hell"
One very serious story about a soldier with a second storyline about Mac and Harm.
#1:When Private Rafael Rivera, a hero of the famous Marine battle at the Shosin Reservoir in Korea, is accused of being a deserter, Gunny goes to Albuquerque to bring him back to JAG for court-martial proceedings. But unbeknownst to either of them, locals are planning to kill Rivera because they recently discovered proof that he is the legal owner of the valuable land they claim is theirs. Moving up their timetable because of Rivera's departure, the locals ambush Gunny and Rivera, wounding Gunny and trapping them both at gunpoint.
#2: Harm falls out of a chair and hits his head and finds himself fantasizing about Mac.

and a new one The Good Witch: Gardens
CB is amazing with young children.
She has a way of talking to people.
As Cassie she reminds me so much of Mac.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if Army Wives would have DJE appear for a few episodes as an old friend.
Denise is separated. The cripple will be going back to girlfriend. Why not have a relationship with DJE as Army General.
Give us the togetherness that we didn't get from JAG.
One catch DJE is still married to you know who.

- Catherine is an amazing actress and each and every role/character she takes on is unique and different. She is a rare and unique talent in hollywood today. As far as Cassie being like Mac, No not at all, they are completely different characters. In regards to your comments about DJE appearing on a few episodes of Army Wives, I agree with Jennifer, No Thanks. JAG is over and done with and everyone has moved on. I don't want to see him on Army Wives either, Army Wives is Lifetime's highest rated TV Series ever in their history and is great just the way it is. Also p, please refrain from making comments about DJE's personal life and who he's married to. Catherine is a happily married woman and Harm and Mac are TV characters and shouldn't be confused with real life. (NT) -- KH, 18:21:29 02/09/09 Mon

Miracles"
It seems like an open and shut case when the police find Marine Sgt. Major Wilson Krohn (guest star Gerald McRaney), a deeply devout man but with a record of a violent temper, standing over the body of his seriously beaten wife. But Krohn claims that his prayers to a deceased Marine chaplain, who is being considered for sainthood by the Vatican, caused the "miracle" that led him to the dark alley, 80 miles from his home, where he found his beaten wife. Harm finds his unusual defense relies on an unusual witness -- a Vatican priest whose job it is to confirm "miracles" attributed to the late Marine cleric.
I can remember really liking this episode because I like Gerald McRaney but it seems like there is not much of Mac in the episode except for the double date with Mac/Mic and Harm/Renee.

- I liked the strong Mac, the Mac who ended things with Dalton & stood her ground. I don't know why she was changed to be all wimpy around men, especially when she let Mic steamroll right over her & then practically got down on her hands & knees begging him to stay. That wasn't the Mac I knew, but it was the way DB wanted her written. As a little less, a little weaker, because I do think DB has an issue with females (I mean heck the guy's been married what 6 times LOL)....It would've been so much better if Mac had ended things with Mic, amiacably, peaceful, without all the drama. Ever notice that Mac, the square away marine, dresses quite differently when she's out of uniform. Except for business suits most of her outfits aren't conservative.
She wear many floral as well as deep cut in the front outfits.
Why is this?
Is this part of her wild side she exhibited as a teenager or does she want the world to know that Mac is a marine, but Sarah is a beautiful and exciting woman.
She's more than just a marines.
What do you all think about her choice in dress outside the office? Does it define her as a person or that she's not just a marine and a lawyer?

- I think its because she wanted people to recognize that she is in fact a woman. Yes Mac is a Marine, & for the most part she is a woman in a man's world. When she's off duty, Mac probably wanted to be a woman, instead of someone in uniform if that makes sense. I didn't always like the style of clothing, but I didn't see anything wrong with it. Mac wasn't flaunting, she dressed like a woman. (NT) -- Jennifer, 19:51:23 01/05/09 Mon
- i agree. mac is all woman. off duty she and most military gals i know enjoys being f femamine and maybe a little extra because their uniforms and work cloths are so bisexual (maybe wrong word but both mean and womean wear similiar.. somehow they look so sharp and dashing on men but not totally femamine for the gals. maybe did not day well. (NT) -- Linda R, 14:04:26 01/06/09 Tue
- sorry to be wordy but godda add to this. Take Silent Service. Mac and Harm ,for total story, run around in standard submarine blue poopie suits. Not very flattering for Mac. Recently i got a picture of my son and his mates down deep in the ocean and he looks very cute and sexy with a furry beard. i bet mac could not wait to get home and soak in something nice smelling and get into some gal cloths. (NT) -- Linda R, 14:14:46 01/06/09 Tue
- You ever wear the same thing to work all week long? It seems the military gets 3 types of uniforms, (I know these are not the correct terms, but you will know what I mean)"peanut butters", BDU's, class A's, with the occasional dress blues. When you get out of uniform you want to be out of uniform. (NT) -- jagnut, 15:18:30 01/06/09 Tue
- DB has Harm and Mac often running around off base or office in their uniforms. more often then real military. think how often you see folks in uniform.? So mac would even more want out of that Marine Green in into female civies. (NT) -- Linda R, 13:09:22 01/12/09 Mon

This week's episode is "Collision Course" -- Harm and Mac defend an American captain who becomes a political scapegoat for a collision between a U.S. frigate and Greek and Turkish warships.
After seven Turkish sailors die as a result of the collision during the course of a NATO naval exercise, independent investigations of the incident are begun by U.S., Turkish and Greek naval officials. But before they're completed, the Secnav advises the JAG trio that higher U.S. authorities have ordered the court-martial of the captain of the U.S. ship. Chegwidden is assigned to prosecute, while Harm and Mac defend the captain, and it soon becomes clear that the captain has been set up to take the fall for the incident.

- The four percent solution -- jagnut, 17:16:00 12/27/08 Sat
Let's talk about "The four percent solution"
While unconscious with a head injury, a Christmas Eve radio show sparks a memory for Mac when, plagued by insomnia after Webb's disappearance, she reluctantly sought the help of the psychologist who treated her after the hostage situation last year. But when the doctor refuses to give her anything without talking first, Mac is forced to face Webb's deceit.
What did you like about this episode?
What did you not like about this episode?
What did you think of Dr. McCool?
(I thought she was great!)
An outstanding performance by Catherine Bell
This episode was about Mac's feelings about Webb but there was so much more to talk about than Webb.
How do you think she felt about Webb?
How do you think she felt about Harm?
How do you think Mac felt about seeing a psychiatrist?
Would you have liked to have seen more of this, where she is talking with the Dr.?
What do you think about the title of the episode, it was cleverly worked into the script.
I placed some clips of the episode into the "jag christmas" video place above

- This is one of my most favorite Jags. it gives Catherine an opportunity to show her really great acting ability. i was so hopeful at the end and then DB just dropped the ball. letdown. (NT) -- Linda R, the other nurse, 22:39:35 12/27/08 Sat
- I hated that the episode was so sad....it would've been nice to of given Mac some kind of break, some glimmer of hope, but nope. It also would've been the perfect time to have some resolution to the whole Mac/Harm mess, & then the 2nd half of the season let them enjoy being with each other, i.e. some happiness. I think Mac, because of her past, very much tried to do things alone, & to keep things bottled up. I think it was very hard for her to accept Dr. McCool's help, even though she realized she needed it. Inside.... -- Jennifer, 13:06:48 12/30/08 Tue
- WOW!! I havent been here for awhile!! What a GREAT topic to see for my first time back!! 4% Solution was such an outstanding ep beautifully performed by CB. The answer to the questions: Liked everything about this ep-was heartbreaking while all at the same time being hopeful. My FAVORITE scene (besides the hand holding at the end) was when Mac was talking to Dr. McCool about wanting a child -"collaboration w. God" and the "sonogram looked like the twins were praying". WOW the way CB delivered these lines- you could so see the mom in her (Gemma was almost 2). As for not liking- agree-wish DPB would have continued this SL but didnt. He dropped the ball on alot of eps but this one especially. All in all I would say that 4% Solution is in my top 5 favs. Missed yall!!! :) (NT) -- Kristen, 14:02:39 01/02/09 Fri
- CB deserves the Emmys with her fab acting on this episode. (NT) -- DavidL, 15:06:34 01/03/09 Sat
- Just a comment. the collage at the top of page is nice. Shows many different sides of Mac. nicely done. (NT) -- Linda R, 10:59:45 01/04/09 Sun
- This was an amazing episode and it defnitely showcased Catherine's acting talent. She was phoenominal in this episode as well as others she did. I didn't have a problem with this Christmas episode not being storybook or happily ever after, because real life isn't like that. There are many people around the world who go rough times throughout the year and their problems or rough times don't stop or go on hold just because it's the holidays. Again I thought this was an amazing episode and Catherine nailed it. (NT) -- KH, 16:21:11 01/06/09 Tue

Ghosts of Christmas past
(Click on the link above)
On Christmas Eve, Harm pays his annual visit to the Vietnam Memorial to honor his father who was shot down on Christmas Eve, 1969. At the memorial, Harm meets a beautiful, but mysterious woman, who claims to have known Harm, Sr. She used to be a singer in a traveling USO tour and she met Harm's father shortly before his fateful flight.
In an unusual casting twist, Harm stars as his father in this episode, and many familiar faces show up playing different roles.
What did you like about The ghosts of christmas past?

Let's revisit Jagglebells
When Mac's "little sister" arrives at JAG headquarters, declaring she's run away from her abusive stepfather, Mac has her hands full trying to locate the absentee parents, as well as investigate the girl's charges of abuse. Meanwhile, Harm spends the evening interrogating a beautiful Public Health Service doctor accused of imbibing too much Christmas cheer before getting into her car.
Also, Admiral Chegwidden threatens to ruin Bud's holiday if the young lieutenant can't find him a flight to Italy -- even though all the airports are closed.

- Hey great Christmas Collage! -- Jennifer, 18:36:59 12/03/08 Wed
Was having fun remembering the different episodes. I still think my favorite Christmas episode is Jaggle Bells, where we are introduced to Chloe for the first time. I absolutely loved it when Mac caught AJ playing with the Robot, and Bud and Harriet dressed as Santa and an Elf, just cracked me up!
I just wish we would've seen more of Chloe in the later years....from what we gathered Mac was such an important person and role model for Chloe, it was very disappointing that they dropped her, but of course we got Mattie (don't even get me started LOL).....
It would be cool if USA did a JAG Christmas Marathon, where you could watch the Christmas eps back to back to back and compare them!

- I was gonna say 4% Solution or Take it Like a Man, but then remember that Mac only had long hair in S10, so that would be 4% Solution. Though I didn't care for putting Mac through the ringer, I agree with everyone that Catherine's performance was rock solid & worthy of an Emmy. Of course we're prejudiced LOL! This weeks episode is Touch and Go
Now a Lt. Commander, Kate returns to JAG Headquarters on temporary duty. In addition to being reunited with Harm, she runs into an Admiral she served under six years earlier. This Admiral, an old friend of Chegwidden's, is being promoted to Inspector General.
There is a clip with Kate and Mac from the episode.
What do you think about the episode?
What do you think about this scene between Mac and Kate?
What do you think about the look between Mac and Harm at the end of the show?

Hey guys
Jubellant is having some family issues so cannot continue with the Mac favorites for a while. Let's just send her and her mom good wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery.
I will take over for her temporarily but it may take me a bit to get caught up. I posted here the other day but I know sometimes voy magically makes things disappear. I would like some opinions, suggestions and ideas about the board if you have any. Jag has been gone for some time now and Army Wives is on break, I know there is a CB board already and I don't wan't to show any disrespect for that board by having this one be a CB board as well. Got any ideas, games, conversations, anything you always wanted to discuss about "Mac" but were afraid to ask (LOL!)?
Just need some ideas for the future of the board
Thanks!!

- Sorry Jubellant, but Mic should not have expected to be told what was going on....it was National Security, & sorry, but Mic wasn't a member of the United States Military, & he didn't have clearance to be told any details of something that was secretative. If he had a problem with it, he should've gone back to Oz LOL! Maybe Mac should've been more forward and said "Sorry Mic, you aren't on a need to know basis, you don't have security clearance, & you cannot demand to know what's going on & you aren't cleared to do so." (NT) -- Jennifer, 08:44:15 08/25/08 Mon
- Another "have" it....Mac is the one who was fluent in Russian, not Harm. So why was Harm chosen to go, when Mac spoke the language? It always bugged me, Mac was the one who could actually communicate with the Russians in their native tongue, not Harm...but of course Harm was the one to go LOL!
