I prefer banning drivethroughs as opposed to banning large powerful vehicles. And if you think that is some kind of heavy handed government, in Madison, Wi they passed a law banning people from going out and starting their cars and letting them warm up in a cold winter morning. It get 20 below zero around there on a cold January morning. Madison is the kooky far left Meca of the Midwest.
Hybreds are nice, but they are very expensive and I wonder if there is one that will tow anything and if there is, would it then get any good mileage. I see no point in a family buying some small car that they can't fit into and then have to go out and buy a second vehicle. How much fuel is saved if you have to take two or three cars to get where you are going.
