Just because a born boy identifies and competes as a girl does not give them an advantage IN THIS SPORT. We dance in MidAmerica at OC Level and girls and boys do feis together at this level, and girls beat boys and vice versa all the time. It is whoever is the better dancer on that day.
In fact, I would think in our region, it would definitely be more advantageous for a born girl to win as a boy at Oireachtas due to lower competition size and how competitive the girls comps here are, at least in the older age groups.
