Subject: But they rely on the entry fee monies and the cash spent by family attending and spending at venue, hotels etc. I think they could go other way and let everyone qualify to ramp up the entry fees But you must dance at qualifying so more money going to CLRG from that

  • Contract already signed with venue. Reduce numbers = shorter comp duration = expensive halls sitting empty. If CLRG survives change it for subsequent yrs but too late to change for Dublin. People already qualified. Can’t strip it from them. (NT) -- Sj, 03:42:57 05/27/24 Mon
  • In future it should go regionals > nationals (closed) > worlds. One national champ each for Ireland, GB, USA, Can. Then one for Europe, one for Africa & MidEast, one for Asia Aus & NZ, one for Mexico Centrl America & South America. Don’t need other majors. This isn’t elite tennis/golf with huge prize money.
