1. Pittsburgh has about 8 feises at the same boring location with crappy prizes. This is a turn off to many people. Even if it’s close should you do 8 of the same feis in a year? No thanks. This is why we need the NAIFC back!
2. If you were at NANs last week you are most likely not feising this weekend.
3. All of the 2nd chance competitions over the last five years have caught up and numbers are all out of whack.
4. 2nd chance comps make it easier for families with less traveling but sane number of comps in a year. Making some feises bigger while others tiny.
5. Some people travel to a feis for an easy win while others prefer a big challenging comp. People are strategic in what they choose.
6. Traveling to Pittsburgh is expensive. PA turnpike is a rip off!
