“Dancers on a 4-hand team may not repeat on another 4-hand team nor can they compete on an 8-hand team. [IDTANA/2022] Any dancer who is entered in both an 8-hand and a 4-hand will risk disqualification of the entire team. Please note, per that above, any entries for teams that do not comply with this rule will be considered null and void.”

The rule is more restrictive than any other majors and I get not agreeing with it, but it is the rule and should be followed by all schools and enforced by chairpeople.
