Subject: My apologies to anyone who is visiting Worlds from out of the US and reads this. We really aren't all like this.

Many American citizens are extremely distressed and unhappy about what is going on in this country. (yes, I am quite aware that some are just fine with it all- you don't need to tell me).

Over the years that we were involved in Irish Dance, we always enjoyed meeting people from other countries, or regions and seeing the sights wherever we traveled. If you decided to come to Worlds this year, I hope you have a good time, your travels are safe,you are treated well and meet many lovely people. If you feel a little uneasy being here, and are mystified by what is happening in this country... I don't blame you. I live here and I'm uneasy being here these days. (And no, I'm not leaving. I'm staying and standing up for the things I believe in. As is my right, at least...so far).

Good luck at Worlds and enjoy Chicago. It is a lovely city with many nice things to see. Safe home when it is time to leave!
