There are so many other things to concern us in Irish Dance. Cheating scandals, unfair school representation. Two dancers in ALL the hundreds of dancers and we are spending time chastising them. I would bet a lot of people had no clue that this was even happening. Do we need to begin testing to ensure that someone is the “correct “ gender in comps? What if an intersex child wants to dance? Should they be denied? What a silly thing to focus on . Everyone who places high is “ taking up a spot” Obviously if a trans girl dancing made it much easier to win they would. What a distraction from things that honestly do matter !!
