He couldn't help but laugh when she all but launched herself into his arms. Strong arms immediately went around her to help steady her, while his head ducked down to rest against hers, murmuring into her ear softly. "Hey there beautiful." It had been a couple of weeks since he had last seen her and he was struck by just how much he had missed her. Hopefully, his feelings for her wouldn't change when she was available to him twenty-four seven practically. His eyes narrowed down at her in the dim light provided by the fire and he smiled a touch, shifting to capture her lips with his, totally uncaring of who might see them. His cousin could bitch at him all he wanted, he was used to Jake's lectures. One hand shifted to cup her rear while the other supported her back, thankful for his strength even more so then usual, since it allowed him to hold her and his balance at the same time. It would have been a bit awkward if he was to drop her right then. A grin crossed his lips as he pulled back, his head cocked as he looked down at her. "Miss me?" Her exhuberant greeting said that she had but who knew, maybe she jumped into anyones arms that she hadn't seen in awhile. Winking teasingly, he tugged her closer into his arms, holding her against his body. One hand shifted carefully up her back so that he could play his fingers through her thick, long hair, closing his eyes at the sensations of it slipping through his fingers again. He had missed her hair, as strange as that was. At night, in bed at times he would think of the way her hair had draped across the pillow, or his chest, or even better his abdomen. There was just something sexy about the long raven colored locks....
