Laughing softly herself as he quickly caught her, her eyes slid lightly shut as she returned his kiss warmly, both arms tight around his neck with one hand at the back of his head. Still smiling when he drew back from the warm kiss, her eyes fluttered open and then she caught his lips again just briefly before responding, her feet finding solid ground again, though she still leaned into him. "I did miss you a little bit actually!" There was a playfully surprised tone to her voice as one arm remained tight around his neck and her other hand slipped down to spread over his chest, a content sigh slipping from her darkened lips as she gazed up at him. "Did you miss me? Even just a little bit?" Her lower lip jutted out in a pout - daring him to deny that he had missed her. There were a lot of unspoken things between them, but it was common knowledge that at least they enjoyed each other's company. Her fingers slipped down to hook into the waist of his jeans as she lifted up on her tip toes - with some difficulty in the soft sand and her bare feet - to kiss his throat lightly and then his jaw before she spoke again. "You look good. Not too bad." Her tone was teasing as she dished out the half-hearted compliment, though her features were bright with excitement and her body was virtually plastered to his. She really was very fond of him - her summer felt like a bit of waste because she hadn't gotten to spend nearly as much time with him as she wanted to. It was nice at times to be home in Hawaii, back with her old friends - kids she had grown up with - but most of the time she was just missing him and the life she had started to put together out here.
