He grinned lightly, ducking his head a little against her neck. It wasn't that he was straight laced but the last time she had gotten in trouble, she had gotten sent off away from him for nine months, to boarding school, and he knew he didn't want that to happen again. Nipping lightly at her neck, he looked up after a moment, only when she formed her statement as a question. "Hmm? Oh. Yeah, sure. That would be good. A beer?" The request was soft and his fingers trailed slowly over her arm gently, softly, barely touching but still wanting to be close to her. Reluctantly, he released her to go fetch him a drink and let his eyes wander around the bonfire, absently wondering why it seemed she never had very many girlfriends who hung around at things like this. Of course, his girl was a bit of a rebel and not a whole lot like the girls who lived around there but still, she was fun and sweet and pretty - he would have thought she would have tons of friends. Still, he knew that she didn't really do well with other girls and in all honesty, he liked having her all to himself. He was a popular boy for sure but there was no one - other then their mutual friend Chad - that he was really close too. He had opened up more to her then he had for anyone else in years. While his reputation was that of a bad ass rebel - which he lived up too - he actually had a lot of feelings of misplacement and insecurity. He tried to keep all that even from her but it was hard when she was so willing to listen and so warm and comfortable curled up next to him in bed...
