She wrinkled her nose up at him, but her gaze was warm - she'd never gotten the straight-laced impression of him, but there had been subtle changes in his personality over the past few months and so by now she wasn't all that surprised to hear him concerned about what her parents would be thinking. Slipping one arm around his neck, she hoisted her slight frame from her seat on the log to settled instead into his lap, her lips brushing his temple lightly. "I'm glad you found me tonight." She had never lacked confidence in herself, yet something about him made her uncertain at times and occasionally she found herself doubting that the scope of his affectionate for her mirrored hers for him - not because he ever made her feel that way, but perhaps just because she wanted very much for him to enjoy her company as much as she did his. Her fingers twisting into the short hair at the back of his head, she drew his lower lip slowly between hers for a lingering moment before just kissing him squarely and then drawing back to meet his gaze again. "We should get you a drink or something. Do you want something to drink baby?" Her fingers danced lightly over the strong line of his jaw and then the soft surface of his lips, her voice low and soft as she ducked her head a bit closer to him so that he could hear her even over the noise of the people around them and the music playing from a car stereo parking nearby.
