She smiled sweetly at him and shifted reluctantly from his lap following his request for a beer - more than she didn't want to leave his closeness, she wanted to get him anything he wanted. "Sure. Be right back, love." Pausing for a moment standing in front of him, she caught his face in her hands and leaned down to kiss the top of his head before breaking away to go find a beer for her boy, glancing over her shoulder once at him with a small smile as she left. Finding a drink for him wasn't hard and didn't take too long, but she did run into Chad who she hadn't even realized was there, so that took up another few more minutes of her time as she exchanged hugs and exclamations and check in briefly and whatnot. After promising to catch him again before she left for the night and agreeing to get lunch with him the next day, they parted ways and she found her way back to Cole with a lingering smile and his beer still in hand. "I saw Chad! I didn't even know he was here..." She scoffed as she handed the bottle to him and settled herself back on his knees again, one arm slipping back around his neck. She had been too preoccupied with him to notice anyone else, even her boy Chad, and felt a little bad about it, but really she had just been too excited to see Cole to focus on anything else. Kissing the side of his mouth lightly, her arm tightened around his neck even as she drew back from the kiss so that he could crack open his drink.
