He missed her while she was gone, he didn't really have a steady job persay, he did odd work for his Dad's company when he was wanted but other then that, the money his mother had left him when she died took a good deal of pressure off his shoulders when it came to a steady cash flow. "You should really see about finding someone to cover that second shift, you know if you worked it would be crashing as soon as you came home..." In his mind, when she had him and a family who adored her, there was just no need to work herself to exhaustion.
