God.. she swallowed again to keep her balance - if anyone else had moved into the room, it would have been fine, she just couldn't explain this - maybe it was jealousy. She wasn't ready to share Adam, she hadn't been - she wasn't ready to take second place to someone else in his life and she wasn't ready to play house with him either - being a mother to the child while it was visiting - she was young, she had her whole life stretched ahead of her and she couldn't even begin to imagine responsibility for a small child. She tried to ignore his fingers lingering on hers, but she got a slight bolt of electricity up her arm.

It was a bit stupid really, but he'd kept Kendall's old room the way it had been when she'd packed up and left it .. he guess he hoped maybe she'd be staying there one day.
