Really it was nice being on his own, he didn't have people 'wanting to talk' with him about the separation or tip toeing around him like he was about to explode or something, the only person he could kind of stand being around is Holly..

God.. she swallowed again to keep her balance - if anyone else had moved into the room, it would have been fine, she just couldn't explain this - maybe it was jealousy. She wasn't ready to share Adam, she hadn't been - she wasn't ready to take second place to someone else in his life and she wasn't ready to play house with him either - being a mother to the child while it was visiting - she was young, she had her whole life stretched ahead of her and she couldn't even begin to imagine responsibility for a small child.
