wow indeed.

but it still begs the question....*what* exactly is she going to do that will make her the big bad? killing warren may nt be the indicator - but the aftermath may very well be.....

from what it sounds like, willow goes on a vengeance-hunt after warren and she will kill him. wrong? absolutely. but while it is not entirely right nor justified - it is understandable considering tara has been killed.

but there has to be more. that's still not enough to push her *as* the big bad. look at giles' reaction when jenny calender was killed. he was all set to pull a van helsing on angelus and the 'vampire pistols' (spike& dru) in s2.

even when willow went after glory last season (and it goes to show the extent of willow's feelings for tara for her to lash out twice in a very dangerous magickly-inhanced manner) it didn't really make her a *bad* person. just seriously misguided.

what if willow shows *no remorse* in killing warren? perhaps that is the key in what happens. she is *glad* not only that warren is dead, but that **she killed him**. i think that's more the factor than the actual act itself.

her reaction to the consequences could be the factor (and a nice reminder of faith when she killed deputy, rather, but her reaction: "no - you don't get it. i. don't. care.")

another possibility is that the scoobies or so horrified by what she has done that they overdo it in their indignation - which ostracizes willow (shades of 'something blue' when no one was making a real attempt to empathize with her feelings).

...just a few thoughts...

- S
