Bush is the one putting your family in danger.

So, why was it so important for us to go to "war" with Iraq? They had nothing to do with 9/11 or any recent terrorism in US. Just because Saddam is a bad guy?(Remember, saddam was our Buddy until very recently. So was Noriega, Bin Laden...) Well, there are a lot of other bad guys out there. When do we get rid of them? Oh, but they don't have oil. So don't give me this liberating Iraq crap. Who says that the world is a better place now? Iraq certainly isn't. They have no govermnent and the main concern of the average Iraqi is security, which is much worse now than before the war. You can't just go around overthrowing governments, especially without the help and consent of the rest of the world. It seems to me that you are simply spouting off rhetoric that you have heard in the media. It is the general consensus among those in the know that Bush is creating more terrorists, not discouraging them. There is no such thing as a war on terrorism. Such a war cannot be fought. In order for this conflict to be resolved, there must be some communication - some attempt at understanding.

I am not a Kerry supporter, although I certainly hope he beats Bush. I am a Nader/Kucinich/Sharpton supporter - the people with the real platforms.

Have you read Richard Clark's book. I have not, but I have read Al Franken's book and he lays it out pretty simple. Don't blindly dismiss the man's claims simply because he wrote a book. Bush took him aside and, shaking a finger in Clark's face, told him to make a connection between Iraq and 9/11. He threatened the guy. He obviously had an agenda and the administration obviously distorted and manipulated intelligence to support this agenda. Do you like being lied to?
