First, look at the positive -- you have such a popular website that you are having these issues...

I don't know the answer to the bandwitdh "back and forth" -- I think that most computers cache files once you visit it the first time (which is why it's so much quicker to go back and forth once the page has loaded) If there's original content on the page, it may reload the whole thing. In this case, unless you have ads that refresh every time, you should be okay.

Lisa -- have you talked with Ashe about hosting on Damhsaweb? It might be an option, but I don't know what her bandwidth issues are either.

Short term -- you've obviously thought through things, but maybe if you put a time limit on dresses... meaning if a dress has been posted for more than three months, it goes to one picture with additional photos available from the seller, you might save some space. Just a thought....
