Think about this fallacy.

If there is a burst of ionizing radiation that intense to destroy all 'electronic media' then that intensity WILL be enough to kill any an all life capable of appreciating Hank Williams.

Records will still be just as worthless with nothing to listen to them with the bonus that the ionizing radiation will also destroy the electronics in the things used to play records.

Also...

Lead shielding and faraday cage.
